Check out a house church
Most of our house churches are taking a break for the summer and will be combining into a fewer number of groups from June through August. Here's what we know so far, stay tuned for more details. SUMMER MIDWEEK on WEDNESDAY NIGHTS in Amherst
Come join us at our main building (365 N. Pleasant in Amherst) starting June 4th at 6:00pm. We'll begin the evening with dinner and then break off into the following groups:
Breaking Free (for women) - This group will be doing a Bible study entitled Breaking Free. The study is designed to help identify issues in our lives that enslave us and learn how to lean on Christ to get the freedom that is available for every Christian.
Breaking Free (for men) - This group will be using a different study that is more geared for men and the issues they face . Again, seeking to identify those issues that enslave us and learning how to live the life of freedom available in Christ.
Celebration of Discipline (coed) - This group will be reading and applying what they learn from Richard Foster's book Celebration of Discipline. The group will alternate each week from reading about a discipline (prayer, mediation, etc.) to practicing that discipline.
Love and Respect (Married or Engaged Couples) - This group will be reading the book Love and Respect and will be seeking to learn more about what makes up a healthy marriage and how to put that into practice.
