In 2011, MERCYhouse launched a prototype of an internship program (aka Josh and Gregory) and have been greatly blessed by their service to our church that will be coming to a close (formally) at the end of May 2012.  We are now excited to announce a more expanded version of internships for the coming school year of '12-'13.

Two Types

Senior Intern - This internship is for graduating seniors who desire to spend their senior year of college spending concentrated time serving in the church and on the mission of reaching students on their campus.  It is unpaid but will include training times and regular opportunities for mentorship.  Interns will be involved in serving both inside the church and will be involved in reaching and shepherding students.  Number of hours per week would be determined based on availability of student but will be at least 10/wk.

Post-Graduate (or non college) Intern - This internship is for those who have graduated from college (or don't plan to attend college).  These interns will be serving for a miniumum 0f 20 hours/wk and will also be holding down a part-time (no more than 20 hr/wk) job.  Housing and a stipend will also be provided in addition to training and mentorship.  Responsibilities will include both ministry inside the church and on area campuses. 

Schedule

• Applications will be made available January 2012 if not sooner.
• Applications must be turned in by March 1, 2012.
• Interviews will be completed and new interns notified by April 1, 2012.
• Intern training August 17-24, 2012.
• Internship ends May 31, 2013.
