Ever began reading a book of the Old Testament and wondered what any of it meant?  Laws about mildew, bloody sacrificing of animals, military conquests?  What kind of God would command these things and what do they have to do with the Christ of Christianity?  If you've asked yourself these questions, this sermon series is for you. 

The fall sermon series for 2011 will be from the Old Testament book of Leviticus.  It's filled with the rich symbolism of the Jewish faith including sacrifices, offerings, festivals, sabbath keeping, and more.  It should shed an enormous amount of light on the Old Testament as a whole and give a background for better understanding the New Testament as well.  Most importantly, it will help you connect the dots between how the Old Testament relates to the Christian gospel that is the person and work of Jesus.
