crosswalkIt's Holy Week which is an opportunity to reflect upon the core of the Christian faith.  The death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ.  Come join us for both Good Friday and Easter Sunday.  Here's what's in store:

Friday, April 6 - Crosswalk / 12pm (noon) meet at main building   AND Good Friday service / 7pm main building

The Friday leading up to Easter is known as Good Friday.  It is the day that Christians remember the sacrificial death that was died by Jesus for sinful human beings.  We'll be remembering it in two ways.  First, we'll meet at the church building at noon and take turns dragging a large cross through the center of town.  We'll stop periodically to read portions of the Good Friday story from the Bible.  This usually takes about an hour.

We'll also participate in an ancient worship experience known as a Tenebrae service.  We'll hear readings  about the events of Good Friday, sing songs and hear a short sermon on the signifigance of these events.

Sunday, April 8 - Resurrection Sunday Services / 9:15am & 11:15am

We'll be celebrating the resurrection of Jesus through music and teaching.  Everyone is invited!
