Bibles

One of the little things that we are always buying and always giving away are paperback Bibles. If you'd like to purchase some for us go to this link (#928 cover) or this link and have them shipped to 365 North Pleasant St. Amherst, MA 01002

We also give away the book Basic Christianity on a regular basis.

Boarding House

Our ultimate goal is to pay off this mortgage completely ($360,000). The rent off of this could then be put toward other expenses and could relieve some financial strain.

We are also in conversation with the town of Amherst about getting more of our students renting rooms in this building. Currently we are only allowed to have four people in the building which has 10 bedrooms.

In order to get things up to code, we will have to install a sprinkler system which will be in the $70,000 range as well as some upgrades that will be another $50,000.

While these are large sums of money, they are the gift that keep on giving with future rentals off the house serving God's Kingdom for years to come.

Basement of main building

• Separate heating system ($24,000 bid): basement is hard to heat and this would give us the ability to only heat selected portions of the downstairs area instead of heating up the entire building. The kids' area especially is a little chilly.
• Dehumidification system to keep mold from growing in far back of basement.

Steeple

• We have a steeple in much need of repair and repainting.
