Hello, we had a great prayer meeting Tuesday and I wanted to send everything that we had prayed for. These are all the prayer requests we prayed for last month. I know that this list is exhaustive so feel free to pray for only what you feel called to pray for. Also it has been a month since this site was updated, and from now on it will be updated weekly, thus prayer requests will be ready sooner, and there will be fewer requests each post. Here are the requests: Family: Aunt who broke her knee, and just had surgery. Hampshire college students.
My brother: that he would desire to be close to Christ again. Direction/ finding a job/connecting to my new community/ friends (making new ones!) Mom's job search. Praise: God's immutable faithfulness after making a difficult decision. Endurance! Salvation of my family, revival in the valley and on college campuses Faith, Academic Success To help me stay faithful through my obedience Please pray that I can find funding for the work I'm doing this summer (out of pocket!) I requested the last few weeks prayer for my friend who may have had cancer. She went to the doctor and it's a BENIGN tumor! Please pray thanks to God with me and that Jesus would continue to reveal himself to my friend and I through hardship. Pray for me to be slow to anger and quick to listen at this time. Please pray that God's will would be done in me and my mom. Please pray for me for school. Spirit of Healing. I injured my left knee while at field hockey practice. I'm going in for an MRI on Tuesday morning Pray that workers will come to the MERCYhouse teams I have tons of work and I hope I can finish it and make time for Jesus For my family to have a safe and clean home to live in! For my mom and her husband To act upon my faith. To be courageous and have the strength through Christ who I know will strengthen me I am in need of God's grace in my life. Direction/ finding a job/ connecting to my new community/ friends (making new ones!) Prayers for a summer urban ministry internship and funding. Pray for understanding of God's will.Protection for my parents, especially my father, and salvation for him. Success in all my exams and an increase in faith. For a relative who is sick so that God will heal him completely, and for God to reveal Himself to my family so that they may be saved. Me, as I go through a tough time academically (and I really wish I were home) My aunt/uncle/cousins- a tree smacked their house! My mother and her smell to return. My business to flourish. My Grandmother is having kidney failure and has a GFR of 15 and at 10 she will need dialysis Health, rest, and good decisions about effectively using my time. Guidance, wisdom, and tongue control Volunteers for Media Marketing Everything school related and jobs. Also my uncle is sick To step up more in faith and initiate conversations to help others walk closer to God. I'm graduating this year and in the face of all this uncertainty I'm having trouble having faith. Please pray for my faith. Pray for God's voice to come through and communicate his will for my life. My life is full of false idols right now. I desperately want to "breakup" w/ an unhealthy sin relationship. I've tried and tried- I need to walk out the "breakup" and need help That I can contribue to the first floor project, that temptation stops tempting me. volunteers for Childcare. Family is undergoing difficulties-- pray for healing, resolving confusion, and trust in God's plan Mom's search for a job and meaning in life. Daily trusting God for wisdom in a time of doubt 1. my sister's father-in-law may get a new pacemaker soon. The doctor estimates he has only months to live. 2. 2 of my sister's friends are being tested for cancer. 3. Pray for me to focus on my class work and research.Summer opportunitiesI want to learn to pray! to really pray powerfully with expectation that God will answer Please pray that I would understand myself in honest truth and to be an honest child of God. My mother- looking for a way to be employed despite her prolonged carpal tunnel and rheumatoid arthritis. She needs a miracle for her finances. My family who are not believers. My mom's job search and faith. Focus more on identity than plans and decisions My family: they are having a hard time financially For God to show me His plan for my life.
