Planting Churches
A big part of the vision of MERCYhouse is to see more churches planted here in our valley. In fact, we are praying that God would make a way for 50 churches to be planted by 2020. We've put some feet to this prayer by starting a third worship service at another site (Northampton) and have plans for launching a fourth worship service in a third location in the fall.
We don't think that we'll be planting every one of these churches. Our hope is that we could become a place of encouragement for other church planters from local churches or who move to the area. Already we are seeing both kinds of planters contacting us.
